New Greater Manchester Student Chapter Event - The First Steps to a Successful Cyber Security Career

A new Cyber Student Chapter event has been announced as part of a regular calendar of events for any student studying cybersecurity in Greater Manchester.


This new event, 'The First Steps to a Successful Cyber Security Career' will feature several speakers who will be explaining their first-hand experience to working within the Cyber Security sector.

With over 100 students already registered as part of the Greater Manchester Student Chapter, this is an opportunity to be part of a growing community of cybersecurity enthusiasts. This event takes place on Tuesday 9th February, each speaker brings a wealth of experience and industry knowledge, come prepared to listen to how they found their first job and what lead them to where they are today.


This event will feature four main speakers taking to the (virtual) stage. Gemma Moore, CREST Executive & Director Cyberis, Matt Ettelaie, Senior Manager, Cyber Defence, KPMG, Oliver Fairbank, Head of Intelligence, Intelligence & Cyber Security, Orpheus Cyber and David Cannings, Director, PwC.
