Cyber Expert Group Welcomes Steven Cockcroft of CySec Professionals Ltd

Back in June, we were proud to launch the first Cyber Expert Group, made up of security experts from the region's leading businesses, including KPMG, Hiscox, TalkTalk, Co-op, Deloitte, Siemens, Northrop Grumman, CGI and NCC Group. We are happy to announce that this week we've welcomed in our newest member; Steven Cockcroft of CySec Professionals Ltd.

CySec Professionals Ltd is a UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Certified Training Provider and an APMG International Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the NIST Cybersecurity Professional (NCSP) program. Steven works to support the progression of the cybersecurity profession in the North West but also globally, to businesses and individuals in all sectors and industries.

"A large part of what we do at CySec Professionals is corporate social responsibility so joining the Cyber Expert Group fits with these objectives perfectly. What is truly great about the North West is the inspiration you get when talking to people and the scale of potential. It has been great to see the development of Manchester city centre and the number of companies being created and growing in the digital and tech sectors. The same opportunity exists for cybersecurity, with the Cyber Expert Group we can unleash that potential."
